The conditions of women all over the world were not so good in education n primary schools or graduation, jobs in private or government companies, and villages. Women are also known as the ‘’better half of man’’. She is still a constant victim of social injustice due to an increase in the cases of rape, sexual harassment, domestic torturing, and many more. In the past several years, society discriminated between girls and boys in education and many more. Due to discrimination between boys and girls, increases in the cases of abortion of girls reduce the population of women as compared with men. Previously, most of the parents educate boys but not girls. Therefore, most of the girls are uneducated and dependent on their husbands in which their law house (Sasural) harasses the girls and burnt alive for dowry.
In the 21st century, Women’s empowerment is one of the most crucial points for the overall development of a country. Empowerment is one of the procedures that create power and support to individuals for their society, lives, and their communities. The main aim of women empowerment is to improve the status in the society by providing free education up to graduation level, until giving support when she lives independently without any support and to make life-determining decisions through the several problems in the family or society. Women empowerment also helps in improving the status of women worldwide in which they live independently without any support of family and husband. When the literacy rate of women increases then it improves the status of women in the society by doing a job in multination companies and live an independent life and lower the case of dowry deaths.
Due to women’s empowerment, she become a political leader, administrators, teachers, doctors, scientists, sport player, government officials, good post in multination companies and many more. Some of the women become a chief minister and governors in several states. Indira Gandhi was become the prime minister of India. It claims that improve the position of women in society.
The Government made a strong law against women’s crime to lower the case of crime against women. But an increase in the case of rape, sexual harassment in the working area worsens the condition of women in society. Let us hope that this rapidly changing and technologically developing world would recognize women’s worth and potentialities and very soon they will get their due place in society.
